If you wish to visit the second largest city of Denmark, Aarhus, it is possible to do so in just one day even though the distance between the 2 cities crossing the sea is around 200 kilometres. And this sightseeing tour will show you the best of Aarhus, in a private tour. Everything in this tour can be tailored to you needs and requirements.

Aarhus has been elected the European Capital of 2017 and therefore thousands of events will take place during this year.
Our tour begins at the Copenhagen pier close to the statue of The Little Mermaid. Here we’ll board the seaplane to Aarhus; the flight trip takes app. 50 minutes.

When we have arrived to Århus we’ll go by car through the forests of Marselisborg, also passing the summer’s residence of the Danish Queen, which is a beautiful sight. Our first visit will be the Moesgaard Museum, an amazing historical museum, perhaps the finest of its kind of Denmark – located in the beautiful countryside. We’ll focus on the collections from pre-historic time and of the Viking Age as well as the current exhibition.

After a coffee or lunch break we will continue to the city center of Aarhus to explore the famous, outstanding art museum, AROS. Recommendable is the permanent exhibition of Danish art from the 18th, 19th and 20th century and of course to see one or two of the current exhibitions of Danish or international artists.

The last part of the day will be either a visit in The Old Town or to explore one of the events that take place on the specific day of our visit.
By car we’ll return to the harbor of Aarhus in order to catch the seaplane back to Copenhagen.

All in all, this trip will show you the best of Aarhus.
